Ours is harvested from the nomadic Himba tribe of Namibia.—they're pros at harvest the highest quality from the unruly thorns. In turn, we're more than happy to pay fair-trade prices in order to support their economic development that's not disruptive to their way of life. After, we extract the incense using ecocert-validated solvents, to make sure it's as pure and natural as possible.
